IRS and Tea Party
I have no sympathy for anyone who belongs to either of these two groups. They’re both bullies - one bullies you for your money, the other bullies you for being a “non-white, non-straight, immigrant, liberal…parasite” - now they’re bullying each other in a political sideshow (i.e. distraction). That is all I have to say for now!

So this happened 33 years ago today. An example of just how brutal Mother Nature can be at times.

Richard Swanson has unfortunately been killed this morning after being hit by a truck only two weeks into his journey. Richard was attempting to dribble a soccer ball from Seattle to Brazil in time for the 2014 World Cup.

This is Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield, performing David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” while floating around the International Space Station. You may have last seen the space station team walking around in outer space fixing stuff.
You will never do anything this cool.
— ‘Space Oddity’ In Space: Yes, Astronauts Are Still The Coolest Humans : Monkey See
This is one of many reasons why Col. Hadfield is one of our favorite-est people in (above?) the world.

The first time I heard “Demon To Lean On” by Wavves was on 107.7 The End (KNDD-Seattle). The DJ described the song/band as sounding like a hybrid of Green Day and Nirvana - do you agree on first impression? Just something worth noting about the song.
It is definitely a great song as well as a great new band I have discovered.
